The people behind the discount
Nomi Traders was built to answer a simple frustration — why should a family have to ask the price of every single item, and pay three margins on a plastic storage box, a lipstick or a pair of school shoes?
How it started
From one counter to a branch network
Nomi Traders began with a single discount counter and a stubborn belief: if you buy honestly in volume and keep your operation lean, you can sell everyday products for noticeably less and still run a healthy business.
That counter turned into a shop. The shop turned into a store carrying household goods, cosmetics, toys, kitchen utensils, dresses, shoes, bags and jewellery under one roof. Today CH Nomi leads a chain of eight discount outlets across South Punjab — Multan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Kehror Pakka, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Burewala and Vehari — serving thousands of families and a steady base of shopkeepers who restock with us.
Nothing about the model is complicated. It is the one-dollar-shop idea, run in rupees: we fix four price points — Rs 130, 150, 250 and 300 — then buy directly from importers and manufacturers to fit them, skipping the distributor layer entirely. Deciding the price before the product is what keeps every shelf inside those four numbers, and the saving that would normally disappear into the supply chain stays with the customer.

CH Nomi runs Nomi Traders hands-on. He does the buying himself — dealing directly with importers and manufacturers so that every item can land on one of four prices, and personally checking what goes on the shelf before it reaches a customer.
That is also why the WhatsApp number on this website is his own. Ask about stock, a price point, a bulk order or the nearest branch, and you are talking to the owner rather than a call centre.
